She started her career with ads and Telugu films. Swati Rajput born and brought up in New Delhi had an inclination towards acting and modeling since childhood. She also worked in serials like: Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Ek Baar Phir and Agent Raghav – Crime Branch with Sharad Kelkar on &TV. Later in 2013 she played a lead character on one of DoorDarshan National's most popular serial – Amrita, where her performance was widely appreciated.

Rajput is known for her small screen debut in Tum Dena Sath Mera on Life OK in 2011. The Kashmir Files will be available in Historical and Suspense and Thriller genres.Swati Rajput is an Indian actress who appears in Hindi television. The movie is inspired by true life events and is sure to have a gripping story line. The Kashmiri Hindu communities observe 19 January as the ‘Exodus Day’. The Kashmiri Pandits had to move out of Kashmir due to an atmosphere of fear and terror created by the increase in independence seeking militant groups and Islamic Insurgents in the 1990s who opposed the Hindu Kashmiri Pandits and wanted to create an Islamic state. The film focuses on the plight of the Kashmiri Pandits and investigates into one of the biggest human tragedies in Independent India. The Kashmir Files is an upcoming film that throws light on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990s which led to the forceful emigration of several Hindus from the Kashmir valley.
